Have you picked up how countless developments in IT have dramatically redesigned hospitality and air travel in recent years? Behind all of this is New Jersey’s own Mr Nicholas Bredimus. This creative man has become a standout in several fields, from the high value home design sector through the essentials of air safety and software to help with time management. Bredimus has brought true energy to all these fields, too.
You could have foreseen, of course, that with his pedigree he was sure to rise to the top. With roots back to the glory days of Rome, in fact Bredimus’ ancestry connects to much of Europe. On his mother’s side he hails from Scottish and German ancestry. Luxembourg and England are the home of his father’s family, though during the 1800s his family would emigrate.

Even after their arrival in the United States of America, they retained their drive and zeal to go far. Nicholas, as well as his four sisters and two brothers, was a child of a father who worked as a mechanical design engineer and a mother who was a practicing nurse. His homes over the course of several years were spread across a number of states - Missouri, Arizona, Texas and Virginia.
And what, you might ask, did Bredimus do to capitalize on his background and studies? A number of prominent jobs were soon his, all working with popular airlines. Mr Bredimus became a vice president with corporations like Hughes Airwest, Trans World Airlines (TWA), and Republic Airlines respectively. But above all the airline industry has had reason to be thankful for his work in software and system architecture. He is famed for one particular project, namely his aircraft maintenance programs that come into use by the majority of air travel companies. He created countless other pieces of software for the airline and hotel sector as well, including automatic programs for handling flight reservations, used by over 50 businesses, to say nothing of his innovative room reservation program using Windows used by the hotel sector, the launch for which was a major event at over 700 hostelries. He went on to produce QuikTix, the world’s first electronic ticketing network. Although this was definitely his forte, he also often worked on non-software fields. He managed American Express’ computer department, initiated Bredimus Systems seventeen years ago, and became the founding president of a major American Airlines division.
These days Mr Nicholas Bredimus has withdrawn from his airline connections and from coding, though rest assured he’s still making best use of his inventiveness.
