I can’t begin to tell you how extremely happy I am after switching to FiOS TV. The FiOS HDTV is just too much of a great deal for less than the value I pay with my previous provider, Comcast.
I was not home during the installation though I really wanted to, I had to tend to something important, but my son who happens to be there informed me that the gentleman who made the installation was kind and professional enough to relay all the information needed. I did speak with the person on the phone for the password he needed for the configuration. When I arrived, the guy had finished the installation and left immediately for another appointment set. But given my son enough information that I was effortlessly go through the TV channels.
Things you should know why I was extremely happy with my decision:
1. Navigation - in reality, plain and simple and I expect within a week to set up a “favorites” line up which I haven’t begin yet.
2. Picture quality - It’s really superb, regardless it’s standard of HD, it’s, the quality of image is superior compared to the other provider. They even ignored me when I told them that the reception in my house was not good enough even after installing attenuator. But now, I don’t’ have to worry about reception, Verizonreally lives up to its promise.
3. Channel Line up - More than a mouthful, everyday our family find something intriguing to watch. I am retired Navy…. yesterday I watched F18 Operations aboard Navy Carriers! I watched Military news and caught the Military History Channel and the Pentagon Channel! I was so struck that these channels were in the line up and guess what can’t help but brag about it to my Navy Friends! .
With my FiOS Internet, it’s really fast, my phone signal is excellent too and thanks God my phone finally works like it was intended to.
I was really glad I made the switch but for now let’s just wait and see. When everything is working well, everyone could be great but once problem starts appearing that’s when we’ll see their true colors. But either way, I will share it with you. For now, I have no worries with Verizon and I hope it stays that way.
